"This support is one way of reminding ourselves on the need to take care of the children who are affected by the pandemic. HIV/Aids has affected all of us, so we cannot leave those suffering alone," said Karim.
He said children were leaders of tomorrow who need to grow in a normal environment.
Chairperson of the centre Frank Lawrence Njirika urged other companies and stakeholders to emulate NICO's gesture and support the welfare of underprivileged at the centre and whole country as well.
"The number of orphans has reached an alarming rate and communities alone cannot manage to look after these children. We need the cooperate world, individuals and all of us to come forward and rescue these vulnerable children," he said.
